From Map to Mountain

This short film follows Tim Tollefson and Sally McRae as they bring a long-imagined route in the Eastern Sierra to life.

The idea began years ago with maps, curiosity, and time spent looking at the mountains as a blank canvas. What follows is the process of turning that idea into a real loop through familiar and remote terrain, supported by friends, long training days, and shared effort.

This is not a race. There is no finish line to beat and no result to prove. The focus stays on the work itself, the place, and the people willing to show up for it.

It is a quiet record of how big projects are built, one decision and one mile at a time.
