Transgrancanaria Elite Field Set

The 27th edition of Transgrancanaria is bringing a stacked international field to Gran Canaria this weekend.

Names like Jon Albon, Pau Capell, Tom Evans, and Hannes Namberger headline the men’s side, while Gemma Arenas, Claudia Tremps, and Katarzyna Dombrowska lead a deep women’s field. Sadly Hayden Hawks had to drop due to a fall in training.

Runners will battle across several distances—including the flagship Classic race and other long-course events—after earlier races this past week kicked off the festival.

The Classic 125k kicks off today at 11:59 p.m. local time (6:59 p.m. EST)
