In the 2026 Transgrancanaria Classic, Jonathan Albon and Henriette Albon pulled off a rare double win as a married couple, taking the men’s and women’s titles after a long night of rain, cold, and shifting race dynamics.

Jonathan Albon broke clear late to win in 12:58:08, ahead of Hannes Namberger and Josh Wade. One of the bigger developments: Tom Evans, one of the headline names in the field and reigning UTMB champion, dropped shortly after the El Hornillo aid station.

Henriette Albon dominated the women’s race, finishing more than 90 minutes ahead of the field to secure back-to-back titles.
