Trail, Taste, and Time

I’ve been drawn to what Norda’s building for a while now—the product, the culture, and the way they move through the trail space. Where It Grows is a quiet, beautifully made film that feels fully aligned with that spirit.

It follows Gabriel DeRossi, a Michelin-trained chef turned forager and trail runner, whose life now moves at the pace of the forest. Directed by Adam Talan, the film doesn’t try to impress—it simply pays attention. To movement, to terrain, to the time that returns when we choose to slow down.

One of the things I love most about trail running is how often it overlaps with the rest of who we are—how it shapes the way we create, think, gather, and live. This film captures that in a way that’s hard to force and even harder to fake.
